This couple has an incredible story leading up to their wedding day. When clients share their stories with me, I'm able to direct my focus accordingly when observing subjects throughout the day. I try to be sure I'm strategically placed to capture the most real moments. I want to create beautiful portraits of people looking at the camera, but I also want to capture the images that show unexpected emotion. These are the photographs that tell the story of YOU and these become MY most favorite photographs.
We caught a beautiful day starting with a quick stop in Cranston to see the groom before heading to the Renaissance Providence Downtown Hotel for photos with the bridal party. Once that limo pulled up, it was a short trip to St. Bartholomew in Providence for the ceremony. That afternoon got toasty. We met and melted just a little at Roger Williams Park in Providence for formals and fun. Our last stop was One Rhodes Place in Cranston to photograph the big party.
This is an example of a very nice portrait on the left with the grandma and flower girl looking right at me. I feel like the story is in the photo on the right. That little flower girl was squeezable and I can feel that tight grandma squeeze just looking at the photo. I'm always looking to create both types of images whenever I can.
Overall, I'd say they had a lot of fun! It was an honor to be a part of their wedding day.
