What a great time I had photographing this family! After lots of brainstorming and ideas, we were able to put together a gallery with lots of variety from fall backgrounds to the ocean all within one block. The day before we met, it had to be almost 70 degrees. In New England, the weather can change on a dime. Even just now I noticed it was raining on just one half of my front lawn. So, of course it was only about 46 degrees on the big day. We worked quickly to keep our little friends as warm as possible. Fortunately, the wind seemed to cooperate, which I was a bit worried about.

On the day we met, one of the clients mentioned a large piece of driftwood that had washed up perfectly on the shore just for us. I hadn't noticed this on my location scouting day and I'm thrilled she had brought it to my attention. What a perfect little setting it created.
